Lake Bjørkelangensjøen is located in the Aurskog-Høland Municipality in rich marine sediments and considerable farming. The lake runs through the towns of Aurskog and Bjørkelangen with many houses along the shore.
The lake is narrow, rather small and shallow with cloudy water. As reeds grow along most of the shore, access is limited to a few places. However, you can reach the whole lake from a boat.
There are probably 13 fish species in Lake Bjørkelangen. The most common are roach, bleak, silver bream, smelt, perch and pike. The lake itself has ruffe, silver bream, burbot, bream and carp, while trout and brook lamprey are found where the brook feeders empty into the lake. Pike, perch and some of the carp fishes are the most interesting species for sports fishermen. You will get more detailed information about fishing methods and sites when you have booked.

Pike weighing more than 10 kg are caught every year.
