Lake Bjørkelangensjøen is located in the Aurskog-Høland Municipality in rich marine sediments and considerable farming. The lake runs through the towns of Aurskog and Bjørkelangen with many houses along the shore.

The lake is narrow, rather small and shallow with cloudy water. As reeds grow along most of the shore, access is limited to a few places. However, you can reach the whole lake from a boat.
