Aspern

Show map

Lake Aspern is a deep lake with many islands and some shallow coves. A wilderness feeling dominates since there are few houses near the lake. This, combined with excellent pike and perch fishing, makes Lake Aspern a fisherman’s pearl.

The lake is regulated to a winter level of 1.63 m and in the summer to 1 m. The Secchi disk reading is average over mud and stone bottoms along the shoreline. The western side of the lake is for the most part shallower, as is the inner part of the eastern shore at Tripperøbukta. The southern part of the lake offers many reed beds. Otherwise there are farms and cultivated fields on the lakeside of the woods that frame the lake. You can run your boat directly to Lake Aremarksjøen.
