Elgåvassdraget

Show map

The Elgåvassdraget waterway is a tributary water system in the Enningdalselva River system, entering it where the superb Elgåfossen falls close to the Swedish border. The Elgå River runs from Lake Elgvannet.

There is road along the lower part of the system providing good access by car. In this section there are several larger forest lakes such as lakes Lysevann and Elgvann, both with strong stocks of pike and perch. Between the lakes there are excellent river stretches where trout abounds.
