Lake Ånimmen is a 12 km long, clear water lake in the eastern part of Dalsland teeming with fish for a varied, exciting sports fishing for several species.
A typical Dalsland rift valley lake, Ånimmen has steep cliff shores. Its greatest deep is 33 m and in the lake’s northern section there is a large island on which the Henriksholm Manor. The lake has a light, clear water and a lot of fish. Fishing for perch and pike is excellent, but there is also salmon, brown trout and char here. There is good slipway with parking at Lunnevika in the SE part of the lake. The Ånimmen FVO association is active in managing the lake and promoting sports fishing.
